No. Once your Seller Contract has been submitted and approved, it is valid for the remainder of the current Reno Antique Faire season.
You will still need to purchase a vendor ticket for each individual event you would like to attend, but you do not need to submit a new contract each month unless we request updated information from you.
-
Vendor arrival and setup times are assigned by section to help keep traffic moving safely through the event footprint. Your assigned booth number, entrance, arrival window, and setup instructions will be included on your vendor ticket.
Please arrive during your designated time slot. Vendors are given approximately 30 minutes to unload. We ask that you unload your merchandise and equipment first, move your vehicle to parking, and then return to your booth to complete your setup.
Do not completely set up your booth while your vehicle is still inside the event footprint. -
The Reno Antique Faire is open from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, and vendors are expected to remain set up for the entire event.
For everyone's safety, vendor vehicles are not permitted back into the event footprint until approximately 4:30 PM and only after pedestrian traffic has cleared and event staff has determined it is safe to begin vehicle entry.
Please have your booth completely packed and ready to load before retrieving your vehicle. Early tear-down or bringing a vehicle into the event before authorized by staff is not permitted. -
Once you have unloaded, your vehicle must be moved outside of the event footprint.
Downtown Reno offers several parking garages and public parking options within walking distance of the Faire. Street meters are also free on Sundays where applicable.
Please do not leave your vehicle parked within the vendor area, loading zones, or event closure after unloading. -
The Reno Antique Faire is an antique and vintage marketplace. Merchandise must generally be 20/25 years old or older and fit within the vintage, antique, collectible, or related categories approved by the Faire.
Modern resale, new mass-produced merchandise, fast-fashion resale, and items that do not meet our vintage and antique standards are not permitted.
We reserve the right to ask vendors to remove merchandise that does not meet event guidelines. Please review the Seller Contract carefully before applying.
If you aren't sure whether your merchandise qualifies, reach out before purchasing a booth. -
The Reno Antique Faire is not a traditional craft or handmade market. Our focus is vintage and antique merchandise.
If you have a product or business that you believe may be a good fit but falls outside of our standard vintage and antique categories, please contact us before purchasing a ticket. -
Street parking and downtown parking garages are free on Sundays. Cal Neva & El Dorado parking garages are closest if street parking isn’t available.
-
Vendor fees are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel, notify us before the Friday of the event, your booth fee may be rolled over to the immediately following Reno Antique Faire only.
Rollovers cannot be carried forward beyond that next event. Cancellations made after Friday and vendors who do not show up for their scheduled event are not eligible for a refund or rollover. -
The Reno Antique Faire is an outdoor event and operates rain or shine whenever conditions allow us to safely do so.
Weather conditions can change quickly, and vendors should come prepared for sun, heat, wind, rain, and other normal outdoor conditions.
If severe weather, unsafe air quality, or another circumstance creates a safety concern, Reno Antique Faire will communicate any event changes or cancellations directly with participating vendors. -
Please contact us before planning to share a booth with another business or seller.
All vendors and merchandise within a booth must meet Reno Antique Faire requirements. Booth spaces may not be resold, transferred, or given to another vendor without prior approval. -
Absolutely! Each single booth purchase is allowed 2 helpers. If you have 2 booths, 4 helpers, and so on. Vendor helpers are welcome to join you for setup, throughout the event, and during tear-down. Vendors will indicate at checkout how many helpers passes they need for event day.
-
A standard vendor booth is approximately 12 feet wide by 10 feet deep.
All merchandise, tables, racks, canopies, chairs, and displays must remain within your assigned booth space. Vendors who require additional room should purchase two booths.
Please also consider the size of the vehicle you are bringing for load-in. Oversized vehicles, trailers, or setups requiring additional space require two booths or special arrangements. -
Yes. Vendor spaces are space only.
You are responsible for bringing everything needed for your booth, including your canopy, tables, chairs, racks, displays, and other equipment.
Canopies are strongly recommended and must be properly secured. Because this is an outdoor event, vendors should always come prepared for changing weather conditions.
-
Yes. All canopies must be properly weighted and secured.
Downtown Reno can experience sudden wind and changing weather conditions. Vendors are responsible for making sure their canopy and displays are safely secured throughout the event.
Do not rely solely on merchandise, tables, or other booth items to hold down your canopy. -
Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean throughout the event and leaving their space clean at the end of the day.
Please remove boxes, packaging, zip ties, merchandise tags, food waste, and any other vendor-generated trash from your booth area.
Leave it better than you found it! -
No. Standard vendor booths do not include electricity.
Please plan for a setup that does not require access to electrical service unless you have received prior approval from Reno Antique Faire.
Generators or other powered equipment should not be brought without prior approval.
-
Yes. Restrooms can be found in the back of Locomotion Plaza and are free to use througout event day.
-
No. The Reno Antique Faire is a one-day outdoor event, and overnight security or merchandise storage is not provided.
Vendors are responsible for their merchandise, equipment, money, and personal belongings at all times. -
If you do not have an annual City of Reno Business License, the required $20 temporary City seller's permit fee is included in your vendor ticket.
If you already hold a valid City of Reno Business License, provide your license information during registration. Once verified, the applicable $20 temporary permit fee can be refunded. -
Nevada sales tax requirements apply to sales made at the Reno Antique Faire.
Vendors with their own Nevada Sales & Use Tax Permit will provide their permit information and are responsible for reporting and remitting their own applicable sales tax.
Qualifying occasional sellers who do not have their own Sales & Use Tax Permit will receive instructions at the event regarding reporting their sales and submitting applicable sales tax through Reno Antique Faire.
Current Washoe County sales tax is 8.265%. -
Yes! When purchasing your vendor ticket, you may enter your preferred section or booth location.
We do our best to accommodate requests, but specific booth numbers and locations are not guaranteed and are based on availability, event layout, vendor category, and operational needs.
Your final booth assignment will be shown on your vendor ticket. -
Returning vendors are given a short priority period after each event to purchase their ticket for the following show and request their same booth.
After that priority period ends, remaining booth spaces become available to other approved vendors and previous locations are no longer guaranteed.
If keeping your location is important to you, we strongly recommend purchasing your next event ticket as soon as tickets become available. -
Vendors planning on bringing an oversized vehicle, trailer, or setup are required to purchase two booths or more.
Our downtown event footprint has limited room for vehicles during load-in and load-out.Simply put, if you need a box truck for your booth inventory on event day, you need more room to sell that inventory.
-
No. Vendors may not play amplified music or operate speakers within their booth.
Our event permit does not allow individual vendor music, so please leave speakers and amplified sound equipment at home. -
Vendors are expected to remain open until 4:00 PM.
Early tear-down creates safety issues, disrupts neighboring vendors, and negatively impacts the experience for attendees. Vehicles will not be permitted into the event footprint before event staff authorizes load-out.
If you have an emergency and need to leave early, please speak with event staff before beginning tear-down.
-
Vendor tickets for the next Reno Antique Faire become available the day after the current event.
Approved returning vendors should purchase early if they would like the best opportunity to retain their previous booth location.
Food and beverage spaces are extremely limited and may fill quickly.
-
Food and beverage availability is limited and handled separately from standard antique and vintage vendor booths.
We intentionally limit duplicate food and beverage concepts to provide variety for attendees and participating businesses. A category appearing as unavailable or sold out means we have reached our capacity for that type of vendor for that event.
Food and beverage vendors are also responsible for meeting all applicable health department, licensing, permitting, and event requirements.
-
Once your Seller Contract has been approved and your vendor ticket has been purchased, you will receive your booth assignment and vendor ticket with important event-day information.
Please read your entire ticket before arriving. Your ticket includes information such as your booth number, assigned section, entrance, setup time, traffic route, and other instructions specific to the booth section you are assigned.
Additional reminders and important event information may also be emailed to vendors during the week leading up to the Faire.
